OOTP 15 Roster File Might Be Corrupted

So, I was a couple weeks into a game in which I had set everything up to where my team would have cheap veterans and I wouldn't have much of a budget...sort of like Moneyball. I had set autosave to "Once a week," and it crashed during a save. So, I started the game up again and discovered that each team was full of fictional players. And not your run of the mill fictional players either. Though, the storylines still had the real players and such. Whenever I try to sim, the game crashes yet again. I'm not sure if the save is corrupted because I'm able to get into the game, but it might be the roster. Has this happened to anyone else? Second time this has happened, so if there's a fix or a way to prevent this, that'd be great.
