right, that's precisely what i was saying. thanks spleen.
it just seems crazy to me that he'd give all that away for a little action. not the adultery part really gets me, its just sooo incredibly stupid to go up there, get some girl and figure "oh, she won't say anything". she was a former cheerleader..hello?! i know, that's a terrible stereotype. but..uh, we're gonna sit and talk about athlete stereotypes, we might as well do it across the board. seriously though, i hope she wasn't hurt or "traumatized" by this event forever.. but at the same time, i hope Kobe didn't do it. Not because of any love for the athlete, but because of just how DUMB it was. |

I agree. If you throw out something that racist, he deserves to be called racist. Just because it isn't LA , doesn't mean they won't give him a fair trial.

fair trials are hard to come by with jurors.
in my Law class, we watched some jury deliberations from arizona... remind me never to go there. the jurors hung everyone out to dry, even when the evidence was completely stacked in the defenses favor edit: oh, and some 14 year old buy was shot 5 times with a shotgun outside some guys yard. the guy thought the kid was going to rob his house, but he was just walking by. the man had previous offenses of discharging a firearm in a residential neighborhood. arizona jury let him off. |

Black Lightning's obvious implication was this was a few white guys looking to rip Kobe, with the white "hick" sheriff and Ivy Leaguer (the nerve of his intelligence)...so to assuage his fears, I assured him that they would have at least six people with a traditionally black apparel characteristic on the jury just to make things fair for Kobe. I don't see why someone making a distasteful statement (Black Lightning) automatically requires another one in response (GForce). Can't you just tell him you didn't appreciate the statement, without retaliating? You're lowering yourself to his level.
