Possible Challenge

Hey I was brainstorming on different ways to play the game, like stats only and other things to make the game more challenging (even though I'm FAR from a master at this game), and I had an idea, has anyone ever tried playing a game where they only used in-house options? Like only used players they had developed from the draft etc. I feel this would be extremely challenging but kinda fun having to put together a roster from the limited players available and choosing the right players to extend or let walk. I was also thinking maybe allowing myself to trade veterans but only for minor leaguers. I'll have to see. Any way I just wanted to know if anyone had tried anything like this!

Yeah thats why I was considering the trading for minor leaguers only, just to keep it interesting.

I kind of already play this way naturally. I only trade for Big league players if I am contending for the playoffs and need a push. When my team suck I look to reload on prospects while getting rid of my vets. So I am naturally focused on building in house especially if I am at a small market team.

I personally don't like wheeling and dealing especially when I start a new save or go to a new team. I rather just start the league with a fantasy draft if I wanted to go that route.
