Nothing. If you are seeing it somewhere, it is an error. If you just misread or mistyped, a fielding percentage of 1.000 is perfect.
Fielding percentage is total error free chances divided by total chances. It can never be greater than 1.

They would be mistakes then. I don't use Rolen rosters or any other 3rd party generated rosters, so I've never seen what you are talking about. I'd suspect they really should be 1.000 for guys who don't play those positions a lot and made no errors. I doubt it affects the gaem, since they can't be better than perfect.

I think the game is best when you don't use premade rosters. A little off topic, sorry, but the game never generates things like that.

yeah with premade rosters you have to deal with ratings declines of great players prematurely. Usually by the end of a first season with MLB GEFORCE rosters, Randy Johnson sucks.
I almost wonder if OOTP6 should have a conditioning rating, or something along those lines to determine how likely a player is to decline/how late in his career it will happen? It could even be hidden except with the editor on, and this feature would make historical replay more accurate. But sounds like I went way off topic there. Fielding % of 1.00 is perfect, yeah. :-D |
