Thankfully, I saw that this has been modified in the latest patch. It definitely looks a lot better, though as a perfectionist I must add that players now appear washed out on Mac. Black players' skintones with the latest patch are the color of sandpaper. It makes them look like they have genetic disorders.

They've added a "Gamma LUT" setting in the File menu (startup screen) Settings --> 3D & Facegen menu which might help you.
