My Jekyll & Hyde Pitcher
Running the Red Sox in a modern day league, simming all games one day at a time. My minor league pitcher Allen Webster had a 10 inning no-hitter (game score 101), followed by a 1 2/3 inning shellacking (game score of 19), followed by another 10 inning no-hitter (game score of 100), followed by a 4 2/3 inning beat down (game score of 33). Been playing since v4 and this is one of the craziest things I have seen.

I think you will find the following two items combined to create what you see:
1) His ratings are seriously jacked up. Either you have edited him to be a monster or the planets aligned to create one. 2) He was not rested when he made his starts after the 10-inning outings. |

Default roster set, no edits to player ratings on any team. His ratings are not the greatest, but the AI did send him down to AA before he tossed the no-no's. Maybe just that much ahead of the competition. Good point on the endurance - had not thought of that.

Also, who is in charge of the rotation? You or the AI? If the AI, what settings do you have it on?......if using strict rotation, I would bet my left garter belt that he was starting tired in the 2 bad games......if you using highest rested, then maybe not..... Fatigue sounds about right but it Could be simple random variance.
And AA kids are more suspect to that imo. I mean we Are talking about a SSS of 4 games, even though the kid has had crazy up & downs.

Agreed, sample size here is really magnifying the impact.
