Justin Masterson pitched a great game but first Chris Perez blew it and then George Springer caught a deep foul ball in the bottom of the 10th with only one out, allowing a run to score from third. A mental mistake that gave the Tigers the 4-3 win.

Springer also hit a home run in the game.

The Jays picked up a huge win as they shut out the division leading Baltimore Orioles 6-0. Justin Masterson gave up 5 hits over the 9 innings while striking out 8 and Jason Heyward hit a grand slam!

Masterson currently has an ERA of 1.17 in 3 starts.

George Springer led the game off with a home run and got another in the 12th to give the Jays the 3-2 win.
