Major, Fictional, or Historical for doing this?
Newbie question: To play a season made up of great teams of the past (24 teams from different years), would I use major league, fictional, or historical at initial set up?

I would base my decision on whether I'm going on to a 2nd season of play or not. If not, it doesn't matter fictional or historical - just import your chosen teams.
Tell the AI what season to base your play on; e.g., base all your play on the level of stats and finances in, say, 1980. Then if you are going to a 2nd season, you'd have a decision between real historical rookies for 1981 coming into a rookie draft or as free agents, or else fictional players the AI makes for a draft or as free agents. |

I guess my problem is during setup, after I name my leagues and name the playoff round, a list of teams comes up, but nowhere do I see an option to import a team from some other season, and then import another team from yet another season, and so forth. I was using historical.
I purchased the game and all the seasons while using my iPad. Last edited by dale001; 07-27-2014 at 04:13 PM. |

There's been some theads about this recently with all the new people on board. A search might help you further...
Anyway, here's the sequence for your historical teams: click on Game, then under Advanced click on Setup & Options, then League Setup, Edit League Structure, Import Historical Team. I then use the historical_database.odb file. And there they are. |
