List of baseball card templates, and plans to make 1957 Topps
Here's an updated list of baseball card templates that have been made so far that we know of. This is an updated version of klavier's list from a couple months ago.

Seems do-able enough for a still-inexperienced card template maker like myself. Hopefully, anyway. Might also try 1958, if I can figure out how to do the backs. A question for other card makers: Would 1955 Bowman be do-able? I'd love to give it a try, but I'm worried the front photo might be too wide. For the '57, the text on the front might be hard to see, might need a box to go behind the names and you can avoid the cartoon on the back by just using that whole area for stats like the Ted Williams card.
'55 Bowman would need some changes but is doable. You would have to make either the front or the back vertical instead of horizontal, plus you might want to make the stats part the blurb of text and the text blurb area the stats part. The back of the '58 would need some tweaking. |

Found two more templates in Syt's 1911 American Tobacco Post: 1922 American Caramel, & 1933 Sport Kings, and added them to the list. Here's the link for those interested:

I have a wiki based list in my sig as well, which also contains links to the threads in which they were posted. I have a couple of cards that I had been working on but am having FaceGen issues in OOTP14 so have stopped for now.

Most are on OOTPmods.com, on this page: http://www.ootpmods.com/facegen ,or on this forum. There are also several posted on the last few pages, and a search for the year and card brand will usually find them for you.

I have a general question. I don't use the cards much and I am only vaguely familiar with how they work. Are each of the templates listed here compatible with earlier versions of OOTP prior to 14? I am mainly concerned with 12. Will all of these templates work with 12 or are they not "back compatible", if that is the right phrase?

Most are. In fact, many were made for OOTP 11 or 12, so they should be fine. I know from experience that most work okay in OOTP 11 and 14. I can't speak for other versions, though.

That list fhomess linked should give you everything available. Some sets, unfortunately, will probably never get made, unless OOTP changes the setup, because of words going at an angle, which you can't do in the current setup.
