Way to keep AI from releasing certain players?

Through a mistake of my own doing, I let a couple of my minor league teams get quite a bit under roster limits. I wanted AI to just sign players to fill the rosters, so I set minor league signings/releases to AI control. I later noticed that the AI had also released one of my top prospects who had been listed as #24 prospect in baseball. I went into commissioner mode and moved him back...I don't feel like that is cheating because I definitely didn't want to release him. My question...is there a way to keep particular players from being released if you have the AI set to handle signings/releases? I know you can lock a player to a certain level but I don't see a way to tell the AI not to release a player. Last edited by markprior22; 07-04-2014 at 02:05 PM. |

Yea this is always the root to those problems. I just keep roster limits off for minors altogether. Haven't notice a option to tell the AI that a player is untouchable but at the same time I never had problems of the AI releasing my top propects.
