Changing scouting budget after season started?

Hi, a new user here and loving the game so far

My Q is, is there a legit or a hacking way to Changing scouting budget after season started?
I accidently set it to $1million.

I read the manual and the forums, so I know there's no "legit" way to do it. Wondering if there's a way such as editing a settings file etc.

But after hours of setting up my game, my team, doing some trades and wrestling with Int. FAs trying to sign em, I don't want to start over.
And this was after days reading and studying the game and the options/settings, just so I don't make this kinda stupid mistake lol.
