Uniforms
I did a quick search and couldn't find anything with this issue.
I started a 1992 historical game and changed the jerseys and logos for all MLB. However, some teams are reverting back to their current jerseys. Did I do something wrong? |

This question is asked almost once per week, in a variety of ways... I really wish they would make a more prominent sticky or statement or something to help people. Not criticizing you at all, I just struggled with the same thing when I upgraded to OOTP14 a couple months ago.
Anyway, for some reason the game always re-loads logos from the /logos folder when it restarts, so you end up with whatever default logos you have in there. The workaround is to make a subfolder within the /logos folder (say /logos/default) and put the logos in there. I and others make other subfolders for special leagues we set up or regularly use, so you can find them (and because after 1000 or so files the in-game tool won't list them). You may have to also delete and reload the logos from your saved game file or do a couple of other things; there are various threads around discussing this so if you still have trouble read through a few and see what is suggested there. Once I made a subfolder for all the logos, the problem went away immediately. |

I had the same problem with OOTP for years. Marcus really needs to change how this works, because unless you are in the know, you simply don't know how to make this thing work. It's a big problem, and it should be fixed.
Anyway, what I learned from some of the good people here is that each logo needs to be dated. IE...Toronto_Blue_Jays_1977-1996.png That logo file also needs to be put into the main logo file. Its' the same with Jerseys and ballcaps. |

Personal Opinion: It's a lot easier to keep different logo, cap, and jersey folders than it is to make sure everything is named properly in a giant folder.

Note to self: Princess Kenny was really off-putting. ![]()

For me too, but for a player that only (or mostly) plays historical MLB games the naming convention would work better (although I think too many files makes it impossible to select in-game).
