Spring Training Q
The preseason notes said you can now invite non-roster players to spring training, up to 60 players. How? I can't find any way to do it. What am I missing?

Minor league players not on the 40-man roster can be added to the spring training roster as non-roster invitees.

How? I don't find a separate spring training roster (like the playoff roster) and adding them to the regular roster seems to put them on the 40 man, if it's not already filled.

You do it during spring training. The main roster will say 25/60 or whatever and then you drag them to there.

how long is training camp. Since u cant do split squad i was going to take my Spring training roster split it into two and then let the 1st half play the 1st half of spring training and then the other half play the 2nd half so that everyone gets a equal look at camp..

just courious as to how many ppl invite rookies they drafted the previous yr at the draft... what i mean is for example my training camp for my 2015-2016 season will be made up of the best players from MLB, AAA, AA, A and then a separate 25-30 player roster of my best prospects from 2014 draft..

I was interested in doing this too, but I haven't even gotten to the offseason yet let alone Spring Training. I'll have to check it out once I get to that point.

Another thing is that you can offer players minor league contracts with major league options. They major league salary only goes into effect if they are a part of your ML roster anytime after the official start of the season and if after 30 days they are still in the minors they get released at no cost to you.

You do it by editing the schedule and add game by game
