Problems with Team Names

I just installed OOTP 15 on my desktop (been running it on my laptop when I first got it). When I choose "Create Real World League" and choose MLB, I get a list of all these fake team names (New York Zombies, Tampa Bay Pines, Baltimore Surge, etc) under MLB... It seems to go back to to normal when I hit "Randomize Team Nicknames" but that only works for the MLB and I'm left with made up nicknames for all of the minor leagues.

Is there some roster update or something I need to download to fix this? I just want to play the current MLB league with no made up teams. Any help would be appreciated. One thing to note is that this didn't happen when I play on my laptop, just when I installed it on my desktop.

Not an issue, Markus needed to make some changes to the game.

from Markus himself........"we have just released the third update for OOTP 15, version number 15.3.11. It is a maintenance update which does not introduce new features, but it includes several bug fixes (including 3D issues on the Mac, sound works now in 3D mode) and updated real opening day rosters (need to start a new game for changes to apply), so we definitely recommend installing the update.

Another change we had to make, at the request of MLB, is to remove real team nicknames for the game, unfortunately. This does not apply to existing saved games though, of course"

I've heard rumored that if you go to each minor league and do the same 'randomize team nicknames' it will do the same as at the MLB level. I haven't tried it myself.

Without wishing to dig up old threads, can I just confirm that adding a historical league also has this issue?

Im loading up 1970MLB and getting Baltimore Bonkers and New York Yogurts etc

Just to quote myself I tested it and it does work on Historical leagues, you might have to randomise 3 or 4 times, but it will come round in the cycle.

Same for current MLB, its there for all those teams and minors, just keep cycling the button.
