starting league with new date

Is there any way to change the start date of a game/league? I have a fictional league that I am setting up as a quickstart and the current start date is 2014. I would like to take this quickstart and go back 20 years to start in 1994 to get historical stats. I tired starting a new game with the template from this game but it does not have all the logos, etc. My alternative would be to sim 20 years going forward and save the quickstart game with a 2034 start date. I'd really not want to start all over again with the template version back in 1994 and have to redo all the logos, unis, etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

Doing the template is the only way...don't worry bout your logos and such, just copy all your graphics over from the original saved game's folders to the saved game's folders you created with the template.
Hope that makes sense..

I must be missing something as I still can't get the logos and unis in the template created version be the same as the original logos and unis in the game the template was created from. I've copied the ballcaps and jerseys folders from the original game to the template created game but that didn't fix the problem. I don't know what else to copy over.

OK, I got the logos to work by copying over the team logos and league logos from the news/html/images folders, but the team, hat and uni colors did not copy over. There's probably a very easy way to do all this right but I sure can't figure it out.

Take those from the old saved games\jerseys and ballcaps folders and copy to the new saved games\jerseys and ballcaps folders always worked for me.
If you've got them in ootp's main jerseys and ballcaps folder, you shouldn't even need to copy over anything...ootp will create what it needs...if you have them in special folders, start your template saved game and then click the game tab and select game settings. On that page, click the database tab and set the paths to your jerseys and ballcaps folders. Restart ootp and it'll pull the images from those special folders. Once the images are all created, you can go back and reset the paths to default if you want.

Thanks, I tried that and the caps and jerseys are OK now. But the colors on the team colors, logos and uniforms modifications page (the top part where you select colors) do not match the colors in the caps and unis (they state uses custom cap or jersey). And the team color on the team home screen is not what was on the team home screen in the original game. It's now the team color from the team colors modifications screen which must have been the color that was set before the logos were fixed. I can't figure out how to fix that.

If your asking how to manually change the color, just click "select" next to the color you want to change and on the Select Color popup, use your mouse to select the color in the logo (just click on the color and it'll auto set). Do it for each color you want to change.
If you intend to use those logos again...add the color codes to the logo names and the game will always use those team colors.
Add the codes like this:
boston_red_sox_c62033_ffffff.png (the first color code is the team color and the second is the text color)
