Can anyone explain to me how OOTP's Runs Created stat is calculated? It seems to me that RC/27 is closely correlated to wOBA but there's obviously some baserunning value thrown in, and perhaps something else - park adjustments?

I'm assuming you've already checked the RC formulas already out there to see if OOTP uses any of them?

I'm sure a lot of it has to do with baserunning, moving runners along, and overall being able to reach base either by hit or by walk. Those are the best ways to create runs after all.

No, I'm very certain it's not one of the simple versions and the others have a lot of variables (especially the "situational hitting adjusted" version). If noone knows I might try those formulas but I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to.
