Do Computer controlled teams upgrade their stadiums
I am in a small 2 person fictional league that started in 1988, we are currently finishing 1994 and we were curious if the other computer controlled teams would start to improve their stadiums to improve attendance and income as real life teams did.
For example I got this from my buddy. looking at stadium capacities. I think all teams that have 29,000 seats or lower should get a boost. The lowest seating capacity in the MLB is 31,000 tropicana field?? What do you guys think. Matt |

No, stadiums remain the same unless you make changes. (Something to be developed for the future—stadium changes would have financial impact and require financial resources so it's not necessarily a simple addition.)
Park capacity in real life is a bit uncertain. The physical park may have a higher seating limit but some clubs close off sections and won't use them, lowering the used capacity from the actual park capacity. In such cases, which figure ought to be used? |

That would be an interesting suggestion for next year. Dynamic ballpark evolution. Gradual capacity increases, replacement after 20-30 years gets fan interest bump. Would like to see relocation after poor attendance numbers, not just randomly in league evolution.
