Eliminate some Minor League Levels?

What is the best way to eliminate some of the minor league levels from the default MLB league? Would I need to go into commish mode, move all the players from the multiple rookie teams to one team and then delete the blank teams?

League Set-up page-delete this league tab.

The players become free agents unless you move them to other teams before deleting the league(s).

would this process be the same if i wanted to eliminate two teams in my league ???? then the players going to FA pool??? and i am sure the best time to do this is in the offseason or preseason time. Yes major league teams and im thinking the minor league teams associated with the two teams would be eliminated as well as players in FA pool again ????

When starting my new league(Mixed Historical Leagues) ,I accidently had 2 Toronto Blue Jays teams from 1990 and deleted the one MLB team and added an expansion team. I think the Blue Jays deleted team minor league teams don't have an affliation now.

If you want to make sure the players remain with the parent team, export the rosters, change the team numbers of any players on affected teams to some other minor league level of the same parent team, and then import the rosters back in. That's the quickest way to do a mass move.
