Are you controlling Toronto and just simming the games or do you control another team? Also is trading, finances or injuries enabled?

I am controlling Toronto but I have the CPU control everything so basically I'm not controlling anyone, just simming away. Trading, finances and injuries are all enabled.

That's fine but all other teams can trade and you are not allowing Toronto to trade. It will be interesting when he becomes a free agent.

Ok I'll probably do that. I definitely want him to be able to be traded. I never would have known. I'll control another team |

If he does get traded I would then take over Toronto as he will probably not get traded back to them. Also if he becomes a free agent take over a team with no money to spend. |

Dynasty- Matt "Double-M" Martini
Not sure if this is a good place but here goes. I took Mickey Mantle stats from 1956 season. He was a Triple Crown winner that year. I took a low rated CF from Tampa Bay Rays 2013 team and adjusted for Mantle's numbers as best I could. I then setup league for no injuries, no trades and no finances.
I let the game AI the team as owner. Tampa Bay still finished 2nd in the Division but 5 games worse than real life. They also were the 1st wildcard and won that game. Then lost 3-0 to Detroit as opposed to real life losing 3-1 to Boston. ![]() Mantle however had a good year but no Triple Crown. He finished 3rd in HRs and 3rd in RBIs and at least 4th in BA and 2nd on the team in that category to Will Myers. ![]() Thoughts? ![]() Last edited by phillupi; 04-21-2014 at 05:55 PM. |

Sorry it's been so long but I'm back to the Matt Martini Dynasty. Through the All-Star Break of the 2019 Season Matt Martini is struggling once again. He has gotten off to a rough 8-9 start with a 3.46 ERA. Also for those wondering I have changed the team I am "controlling" so that Martini can be traded. I will be switching teams every year so no team has a huge disadvantage.

Matt Martini finished the 2019 season similar to the way he began it. He finished with a 13-13 record. This was likely a main reason the team is not in the postseason as the team finished 80-82 only 7 games behind the Yankees for the division lead.

Now halfway through the 2020 season Matt Martini is once again struggling to win. He has gotten out to a 5-7 start to the year. The Blue Jays are winning however at only 2.5 games out of the division lead. Much of this is due to Toronto's All-Star pitcher Matt Smoral who has stolen much of Matt Martini's thunder

Martini struggled to finish the season. Everyone is frustrated with his play. He finished 9-15 doing terribly. The Jays struggled down the stretch finishing once again at 80-82 and out of the postseason.

Matt Martini has finally begun to come into his own starting the season 11-7 with a 3.99 ERA through the All-Star break. This along with his popularity allowed him to make the All-Star team in the AL for the second time.

Matt Martini finished the 2021 season well with a final record of 17-10 and an ERA of 3.70. This is likely his best season thus far in the majors. The Jays can't say the same, however as they finish with a 75-87 record and of course no playoffs.

Matt Martini started the 2022 season fairly well with a 10-5 record. Unfortunately that was not enough to get Matt Martini an All-Star roster spot. He is following up his solid 2021 season with another in 2022.

Matt Martini finished the 2022 season excellently. He had overall likely his best season finishing with a record of 16-8 with a 3.52 ERA. The Blue Jays had 83 wins but failed once again to advance to the postseason.
