2014 game - drafting players from 1920-2013

I am playing the 2014 game. I want to set it up so that I am drafting players from 1920-2013 or 2014 into the future. The main thing I want is 1920-2013. I have not been able to do it and I have tried different settings 3 times. While waiting for an answer I am going to try the 2013 year game (ootp15) and see if that is the way to get historical players into the game.

Ideally I want to play the 2014 season and have a mix of future players and historical players back to 1920. can this be done tho?

I am beginning to think that the only way to play using players from all eras is to start the game that way. If u start with a 2014 or 2013 0r 2012 and so on roster the game will not import players from all eras starting with the 1st draft in June.

At least that is my conclusion after starting with 2014 rosters and then another game with a2013 roster. The players imported in the 1st june draft are players from the future rather than from all eras of the past.

If anyone knows differently I would sure like to know it

Markus' post here seems to indicate that it is possible but I haven't been able to get it to work.

I have tried everything as well and also read the post and followed markus' post and still it did not work.
