DST-Adjusted Time Zones

As the entire Major League Baseball season and most of spring training is within daylight saving time, would it be possible to edit all cities that use DST to be one hour forward? I can't figure out what file to adjust to edit cities.

(NOTE: This is not for editing one specific .lg folder, it's for the entire database.)

it is, except for one problem.... Arizona does NOT observe DST, but in the game, it is treated as a Mountain Daylight Time Zone, so the games are 1 hour off... hadn't mentioned it because I thought it was nitpicking, but figure I would here.

Same issue with Hawaii and Puerto Rico, which is why I made the thread.

Edit the world.xml file, but it's supposed to be correct. It accounts for areas/cities using daylight savings and those that don't.
You also have to take into consideration, your in-game time zone setting. Most people forget to set that option to their local time zone and this affects the game times you see.

The game times are in the correct local time. What changes is how many hours offset they are from the time zone you're referencing. When DST is in effect Phoenix is effectively in the Pacific time zone since there's a three-hour time difference between there and New York. When DST is not in effect, then Phoenix is two hours behind New York time.

Now, as I recall, the world database had to make a choice about how to handle places which didn't observe DST. Since during the actual MLB season Phoenix is three hours behind New York, the decision was made to effectively put Arizona into the Pacific time zone. I don't recall there being any automatic adjustment when DST kicks in, because DST starting and ending times have changed over the years, and also vary from place to place (e.g. the starting and ending points for DST in the U.S. and Canada are different from those used in Europe).

Admittedly, I haven't kept up with the changes, so maybe Arizona was left as two hours behind New York instead of its DST time offset. Or maybe DST adjustments are automatically made in the game. But that's not my recollection. It was a long time ago...

The one thing I see in the game all the time, is all the 'west coast' start at 8:05 (I'm playing Arizona with the correct time zone setting in-game) and Arizona's starting at 6:40 (which is correct) so the offset isn't there...

I move the Padres to Hawaii and it has been a royal pain trying to make time adjustments.
