[league redacted] Fielding Stats

I'm doing a little research, and I was curious if anyone in the community knew where I could find fielding stats for the ***?

I know that Baseball Reference has complete stats from 2005-2013, as well as games played at each position from 1969-present, but I was hoping to find basic fielding stats for the gap (1969-2004).

Nothing fancy, just putouts, assists, errors, and, if possible, double plays turned and passed balls.

My assumption is usually that if BBR doesn't have the info, it doesn't exist online, but I thought I'd ask, just in case I was unaware of an online source that could help me out.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hm, this might belong in the OOTP15 forum.

But since I use Baseball-Reference for everything, I have nothing. There's probably a Japanese-language source that Sports-Reference hasn't discovered.

There's an old *** Lahman db floating around the forums here that has much of the data. Search in the rosters section of the mod forums.

I found murmur13's *** Historical Database (v.0.94) and it looks like it has the info I need (or at least info that I can work with).

I haven't explored *** yet in OOTP 15, but do you want me to see if historical fielding stats are in there? That might save you a ton of work.

They aren't. Historical stats aren't really in there at all, only career stats for active and recently retired players.

Rod and I (really just Rod) are trying to fix up an old *** Lahman so as to include historical stats, team histories etc. but it's a ton of work and won't be done in time.

Should be able to include them next year though...
