Is Anyone Surprised...

I think it's blatantly obvious we need tweaks and minor touch ups rather then giant patches. I can't be the only one that picks up the game plays for 3 or 4 days tests the system to its limits and gets infuriated then leaves until another patch comes out.

The training system needs so many useless inputs that simulations now take forever, The contracts are still so messed up that one new game none of my goalies want to reign and yet in another save they love me and my main Centre doesn't want to come back. Can we get some consistency.

If the game was solely focused on the NHL with a custom editor and mod system you wouldn't have to work other leagues for the first version. Make one league and it's feeders the most accurate you can make it and let other fans/users make the leagues they want with the support of the volunteers who go out and get stats and info.

I sincerely hope instead of these giant patches we get small fixes to the communities biggest concerns. The path its going it looks like maybe FHM 2016 or 17 might be worth it but who knows how many active pc simulation fans will be left by then.

This is how the other leagues are in the game already. People researching and doing the input of them, themselves. Although if a new league is added and it causes bugs the devs still have to go fix that too! I agree maybe the game should have been released with just the NHL/AHL etc but it wasn't and we have to now try to perfect what we have.

Well I sure hope if they have an option of releasing small patches more frequently that they would do so. You're not the only one that feels that way. They mention that they have fixed certain problems and we see no patch release about them. OOTP doesn't follow the concept of only big patches. Markus is right on it when there's a serious bug and he releases a small patch to address the problem when he finds the solution. I don't see this happening for this game.

Oh I know a fix will be out soon and it will clear up some issues but it will be three weeks after the initial patch with little to no communication once again.
Now that the Hockey season is going to be ending shortly the development of this title is just about finished.

I have been wondering if the next version has the green light or if they are going to be evaluating the work done on FHM. My feelings for hockey sims aside if I had a company that produced high quality games year in and out I wouldn't allow a branch of the organization to sully the reputation of my business. If Hockey sims are wanted by the market then someone will make one and OOTP shouldn't have to keep it afloat.

If the next title has online, fully functional tactics and a robust trading system I will buy it if its FHM in need of more funding to add upon what we already have I dunno they will definitely have to convince me and many others its still a valuable product.

Both Markus and Sebastian are Germans. What's the difference, then?!

No, you're not the only one. There are at least two of us.
