Uniform numbers
Does anyone else pay close attention to uniform numbers? Talking mostly fictional here.
Do you, for example, make sure that your pitchers have two-digit numbers, or maybe give that temporary call-up a number in the 50s? I even like to give players with certain characteristics numbers similar to their real-life counterparts. I may give that flame-throwing reliever No. 54 (Goose Gossage) or maybe a power-hitting outfielder No. 44 (Hank Aaron). Once I even used the old Cubs (late 1960s) system: catchers, single digits; infielders, 10-19, outfielders, 20s; pitchers, 30s, 40s. Anyone else? |

For my current team the lowest # a pitcher has is 15. My starting C is #5 and my utility player is 7.
