Can't sign free agents

i am a few weeks into my season. Im playing as the Dallas Stars. One of my players gets injured for an extended period. I place him on the IR and look to help replace him through FA. I find a guy that fits what I need and so I make an offer. I clicked "ask for response" and he accepts and is excited. Yet the submit offer button wont let me click. It just stays white. I have roster space and i have cap space. Whats the deal ?

Ive tried signing others but its the same deal. I can't sign anyone.

i have a similar thing happening. i have offered (for all 3 seasons ive played so far) contracts to my own pending FAs and have zero response. i can submit an offer, but they never accept. the offer just stays until they hit free agency. when i make offers to some of my prospects, i get no response and cant even submit the offer...

It is some kind of bug that they have been working on, but haven't been able to fix yet.

Same thing happened to me, offered Stepan a contract in RFA , he said he would accept the offer but i couldnt click Confirm.

Yeah this is happening alot. I can't hardly sign anyone.

And on the first day of the season i offered a contract to many of my players who would be FAs. They went the entire season and playoffs without me ever hearing from them. Yet every single day in my mail there teams signing their guys to extensions. How come im the only team not allowed to sign guys to extensions ?

Its getting frustrating when i cant sign anyone and the AI grabs everyone at will with no problem.

Haven't this been fixed? I did buy the game yesterday. Like it so far but can't confirm any offers at all! Did I buy a broken game? I can't play the game if I can't offer players contract... Any news?

Look for players that are listed in black not in grey. You will be able to sign those.

I have been able to sign dozens of players up until week 3 or 4 of my 2nd season. Now I can't sign free agents anymore - agree to deal and then the submit offer button stays white. ARGH!!!!!!! Unbelievable that this hasn't been fixed yet.

Which team and league are you playing with? I know there's an issue with transfer rules not getting reset correctly for certain leagues, but NHL teams should be fine. The submit button is continuing to stay white after you've asked for a response and the player has agreed to it?

I am using the NHL that comes with the game.

That's EXACTLY what happens to me! I'm playing a historic season 1993 season as GM of the Penguins.
