Well, I thought I would try to help but a sarcastic reply of "seriously" doesn't do much for that desire. I don't know of any instructions out there that exist so not much I can say about that. I guess offering the help of the people that have been playing the game and know about the game does help enough?

I apologize in advance to you, next time, I will just say that no, there isn't a help file that I know of, blow you off or maybe I could just do whatever everyone else on here did and just not respond whatsoever.

Well aren't you just a sweetheart tcblcommish. Sorry I offended you with what you thought to be a sarcastic answer. It was more surprise than sarcastic in actuality. Surprise in that a $40 game would have no instructions/tutorial to speak of. And your right the community is quite sad at the moment and I have a lot of questions but I decided to put this game down for now. From what I see in trying to get some answers from the boards is a not quite finished game that needs some tweaking.

Keep helping people tcblcommish, and try not to have such frail feelings in the future!

Game is actually quite easy to play. If you've never played OOTP then I can understand it being a little difficult at first, but the fact that FHM has like half the features on the menu that OOTP has it would be much easier to learn on.

As already mentioned in this thread, just reply with as many questions as you want answered, you may end up getting a response faster then trying to figure it out yourself. I've never seen a sim based game have an instructions manual that was any useful. Sure OOTP has one, but it's not very good at explaining things.. don't even get me started on Football Manager.. now that is a tough game to get started in!

Considering that a few $60 games don't come with instruction manuals (or if they do, they aren't worth anything of value), I didn't expect any instruction manual.

But even though the game does seem overwhelming at first, once you get into it, it becomes easier to handle. As a few mentioned earlier, just ask some questions and I'm sure someone will be able to help you.

First of all, try free OOTP 8 to get handle on manager games.
Second, think what real hockey manager does when is assigned to a team.
