help with free agents

hello i have always been able to pick up players off free agents no problem before. It is july 2 2015 in game and there is players on list i want to sign but it wont give me the option to. There a reason there would be someone on free agents list u cant sign?
most ones on that i want are to expansive or grayed out grayed out ones would sign for the amount i can afford.

What about their rights? Are they UFAs or RFAs? You can use the "Signable" checkbox in filter to hide players that aren't signable by your team.

ok filter by signable work he is out of the list guess was prolly rfa thought free agent list was just ufa
