Odd Team Abbreviations
I started a league a month or so ago using OOTP version 5.10 and the TM roster set. When looking at some of the news screens that abbreviate the teams names, such as the Top 100 Prospects screen, it would use the following abbreviations:
CHA - Chicago White Sox CHN - Chicago Cubs NYN - New York Mets NYA - New York Yankees I decided to start a new league recently. I am still using the same TM roster set but I am now using OOTP version 5.12. When I look at the news screens with my new league the abbreviations are as follows: C( - Chicago White Sox C( - Chicago Cubs NY - New York Mets NY - New York Yankees My old league still shows the original abbreviations, it just seems to be an issue when starting a new league. Anyone know how I can fix this? If noone has any better suggestions I'm planning to switch back to an older version of the game to create my league and then switch back to the new version to play and see if that does it. That doesn't seem like an ideal long term solution though so I thought I would ask first. Thanks! |

Couldn't you go to each team setup screen and correct the abbreviation there yourself?

That's why I was asking, didn't know if there was a way to do that... Thank you for the help, I found the screen you referred to, I wonder why it changed.
