Managing Team Logos, Unis, etc.. w/ Name Changes

If I arbitrarily change a team name, then change its logo, jersey, and cap, I notice when the game reloads that team is regenerating graphics.

Is there an additional step I should be taking in order for the new logos, etc.. to stick after the name change?

I can't say for sure because I have no memory, but I think if you change the team name, then exit the game, add the graphics, then open the game, it should work.

Many times it's trial and error and can be a real pain.

Yeah, this is a bit strange to me. Seems something's working a little differently than I recall. My memory's lacking, too, it seems. Thanks, though. I'll keep whacking at it 'til it works.

I had no problem getting logos and uniforms to stick after changing 2 team names then doing the new logos and uniforms after the name change,

What is the name of the logo, cap and jersey?

If you rename the Brooklyn Superbas to the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1910
BUT
the logo you want says Brooklyn_Robins.png and the jerseys are jerseys_brooklyn_robins.png

This is why you 'might' be having the issue

Thanks, all. I think the issue is the order of events, but I'll have to check it out. Unlike The Game, I changed all the graphic components, then changed the name. It appears the more logical method is the other way around, as he indicates success doing it in that order. I'll try tonight, probably, but I'm optimistic that's the problem.

Yes, change the names first, close OOTP, start up again. Then choose the new logos and uniforms.

also, if you are changing more than one of names/abbreviation/location i have found that you had to change one at a time, and make sure the change was recorded in the banner, pressing enter on each, quite a few time
