New Fighters/Corner Men?

I'm sorry if this is a question that newbies ask a lot, but there are a few fighters and corner men that I don't see in the game, that I think belong. Not many, but a few (fighters would include Wimpy Halstead & Bruce "The Mouse" Strauss, & corner men would include Alexander Zimin, Miguel Diaz, Pop Blanken). I've glanced over the threads in the forum & not found them. Though there's a lot to see.

Wimpy would be a good addition

We have a dedicated team that rate fighters, be sure to put in a request.

Try looking here and the download should include all those you mention and potentially many more.

@bob_bask: thanks. I found Wimpy in that thread, and I've been looking over the whole thread since then. Some very interesting reading for an old time boxing fan. Got another question, though: starting from page 16, guys are no longer posting stats so I can add fighters. From that point onward, they're posting files. How do I download & install these fighters into the game?

The files should make it a lot easier and quicker for you to get boxers into your universe.

Just click on the download link, the boxers name, ie moore_sonny.tbdx.

The location of the downloaded file does not matter, but you may want to set-up a separate folder for them - it's only for ease of location later.

Now in game, I'm guessing you're using TB2013.

Locate the folder and select the boxers tbdx3 file to import.

So if I'm understanding you, I can dl it anywhere on my hard drive & the game will detect it. That about right?

you will need to remember where you downloaded it to and then direct the game to it ...

@Hanson Bros: That shouldn't be a problem, but how do I import them? I go to Options->Import/Export but all it let's me do there is export fighters.

Look at Bob Bask's example. Go inside your game and open the FIGHTERS section. Click on EDIT then IMPORT TBDX3.File. The game will ask you where you've downloaded that boxer's file and you locate it and click on that file. The game imports the file and you just do a search within the game to find where the file is. I just use ALL GROUPS and either ACTIVE or RETIRED as parameters for the in-game search.

I don't think I have the same version of the game as you think I do. When I open the fighters list, my options, on the bottom of the screen, are prev, next, select all, unselect all,inverse selection, delete & copy. There's no edit tab on the top.

If you are using the new version go into the fighters area, click edit, then click import TBDX3 file (or the folder option) ... see Bob Bask's picture above

sorry didn't see this first ... sounds like you have 2.5 .... click the menu tab on the side of the screen and hit import fighters

if you have a version earlier than 2.5 you may not be able to import fighters ... I don't really remember ... you main title screen should have the version number on it
