Look At All Prospects
I have a top prospect (Anthony Rendon) that I want to trade for another top prospect. "Shop A Player" is very useful in this regard, but I want to look around at more prospects, maybe ones that aren't quite available one-for-one. Normally when I do this, I go into the trade screen and look at the "Prospects" list for every team. So, for the MLB Quickstart, that means 29 teams. Lots of clicking, and lots of going back and forth. It's quite annoying.
I have found that I can sort of simplify this, particularly when looking for pitching prospects, by just going through "Look at all [insert league here] players", setting view to "All Starters," and sorting by potential. But that's still pretty messy, because I have to look through each minor league. Is there a way to just see a sortable list of all prospects? |

For the 2013 Nats in the MLB Quickstart, Danny Espinosa is usually pretty solid, so Anthony Rendon doesn't really have any way into the big league club. Plus, his defensive ratings (I think specifically his Turn DP rating) are low enough that he pretty much can't play 2B in OOTP.
I managed to turn Anthony Rendon, Michael A. Taylor and Nate Karns into Francisco Lindor. I actually think it was a decently fair trade. |
