Apologies if these questions have been answered elsewhere; I did a quick search for both and didn't immediately see anything that might answer either of them.
1) Is there any detriment to a season schedule with zero off days? In other words, would a player be more susceptible to injury? (I know that fatigue would play a factor and influence daily lineups, and possibly pitching usage, eventually.) 2) Is there any detriment to not scheduling spring training? Do the players in-game need this time as a "warm-up" for the season, or is it used as more of a live-scouting exercise? Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer these couple of questions! I've been impressed with the game to this point (purchased it on Steam during their winter sale), but I've been even more impressed with the community here on the boards. |

1. You answered it yourself, position player fatique would definitely play a role. Pitching would still be fine as pitchers are always ready to go after 4 day's rest. The only down side is the lack of realism.
2. I never schedule ST, but then again I don't usually GM a team. I imagine it would be useful for determining who, out of 2 similar rated players, should make your opening day roster. |

Sounds like neither is an issue, which is good news. Thanks for the answers!
