OOTP on a Chromebook

If I order OOTP 15 for Linux will it run on a Chromebook?

If you want OOTP running on your chromebook, your best bet is to install linux on it first via crouton, or chrubuntu. Which chromebook do you have?

OOTP will not run in ChromeOS. There are space considerations to take into account as well, as most Chromebooks ship with very little on-board storage and OOTP can take up a fair amount of space. For example, my OOTP 14 install is using over 18 gigs of disk space.

If the Chromebook is not your primary computer then you can do what I've had success with: using the Chrome Remote Desktop app to connect to your desktop on which OOTP is running. So I have a Windows license for OOTP 13 and "remote in" to play it via the Chromebook. It works pretty well.

is there any confirmation that this works for OOTP?

Here are the specs for the new chrome book 14
NVIDIA A4 1.0 GHz
2.0 GB DDR3L SDRAM
16.0 GB 5400.0 rpm 2.0 GB Solid-State Drive

So, does anyone know if I were to follow the above directions then install OOTP 15, will it actually work?
