Player Pics and real logos...

Fairly new to the game and not very tech savvy.

Here is my question, is there an easy way to get real player pics and team logos into the game?

Or do i have to do crazy stuff like compile every logo from the internet, save it somewhere, import it all etc etc etc.

I see all these mods with different logos etc, i guess my next question is how do you add those to the actual game?

Put the logos in the "Out of the Park Baseball 14/logos/" folder, and create a new game. If your game has already started, go to Game Setup/Player Picture Options, and click "reset team logos"

Have you checked out Add-Ons Central yet? It's probably the easiest way to get logo's and pictures. When you use it, all you have do is the download and the install. It puts everything where its' supposed to go.

is add on central the same thing as the mod forum? or is add on central located within the game or something?

If it is the mod forum do i just pick what set of logos etc that i want and install?

Different. There is a menu for Add On Central within the game. I'm at work, so I can't remember what screen it's on, but if you click through the game you will find it. It has the all in one mod that will provide you with all the modern logos. It also has one that has all the player pics. One for historical facegens etc.

Just remember you have to download the mod and then install it. The menu will say download first and then after you do the download it will change to install.

I went to add-on central.

My only download options are

skin files for ootp
skin files for ootp dark
skin files for ootp classic

I don't see anything regarding logos or anything. Am I missing a step?

Sorry folks, but those addons have been removed from ootp due to concerns from ootp devs.

Unfortunately we had to remove the mods server from the add-ons server list in
OOTP

Users have to enter the mods server link in the add-ons
dialog manually. This is how it works:

In the add-ons dialog, click on
"Add a server"
The dialog asks for an URL. Enter this URL and click on
OK:

ootpmods.com/mods/ootp14mods.xml

That's it!

For some users it might still work because OOTP saves the server list locally.

If what's in the quote doesn't work for you, then you can try my attached .xml file which adds an additional mods server in this post. It still works.
