New to OOTP - Admin Rights?

Some quick questions:

1. I'm going to play this a lot on my work laptop, which my lovely IT dept. has taken away our Admin rights. Are there any issues with playing the game if I can get temp admin rights to install it? Any issues with downloading updated rosters, etc?

2. I mainly want this because I love GM mode in The Show, but find it to be too limited. I like PS4/The Show for actually playing baseball, I want this for all of the GM decisions, contracts, roster management, and some day to day coaching. Is this a good fit?

The answer to 2 is a definite yes.

I would assume the answer to 1 is that you would be OK once you get it installed for now. The only issue would be applying future patches, which would require admin privileges again. For OOTP14, there aren't really any more patches (except to fix really really specific things) so you could install that and be OK for a while. But when OOTP15 comes out, there will likely be patches continuing for much of the summer if you choose to buy and install that.
