Add Owner to team

I was expanding my world, and wanted Nolan Ryan to leave the Rangers as an owner and take over the GM duties of one of my expansion teams. I went into the editor, moved Nolan from Texas to Dallas. I went back to the Texas Rangers options and ballpark screen to add a new owner, but there isn't a place to add one. There isn't a job availability option for owner either.

Will the AI just assign one, or have I screwed it up?

You did nothing wrong. He just has to defeat for eternity in a ring of hellfire Robin Ventura to win that GM job.

don't worry, he will die at same point and be replaced by Nolan Ryan Jr.

You have to edit him in as owner. Not too many former players become owners.
