Real-life minors in immediate post WWII period.
Has anybody else tried to do real-life minor leagues in the postwar boom era? With seemingly 52 bajillion D league teams? If so, how did you handle it, as far as division setup, scheduling, etc.? I've come to 1946, and the teams started sprouting up like mushrooms from then until TV killed 'em in the early 50's.
So, is it a little too ambitious to even try? Should I just pick and choose the better leagues, and leave the others out, particularly the unaffiliated ones (which present their own set of issues, anyway)? Would so many teams just screw up my saved game? Anyone out there with experience in this era who can tell me how they handled it? |

Leave the D leagues out, they're hell to deal with and most of them will fold within 10 years anyway.

Well, I was going to include at least 4-6. Especially the KOM, which I have a book about and can easily make uniforms for. But I am sort of leaning in your direction, so long as the logic circuit in my brain can override my completeist nature.

I got started on this once but never got past the planning stage. Best wishes in your effort to make this happen. I think it may be the toughest accomplishment in the land of OOTP.
