Optimal pitching use by AI. what are best settings you have found? (simmers)
I have tried options, like quicker hook, slower,,, relievers starter... but I still get things that bother me like this one...
starter is sent out for the 9th, Gets a quick out, then a single to the number 3 hitter. He then gets pulled.... Problem is this was a 9-0 ... either you take out before since the game is a 99.9% win, or you believe in old school and let him get his complete game SO. but I can't see any logical scenario of how AI played this ... (note pitcher does not have a pitch count, and 6 stamina on 2-8 scale so that is not reason) |

Have you tried use of relievers-normal, use of closers-rare and pitcher stamina set to normal?

I prefer closers set to normal myself, rare is TOO rare for me.

I forget what my settings are because I'm not home, but it seems to me that the AI is a slave to pitch counts when my team is winning a blowout like that. The AI always lets my starter go until his pitch limit no matter how much my team is winning by.
