need help please

i set up OOTP on win 8.1 and it worked fine but it was in windowed mode. also it was also in OOTP 14 skin. I changed it to full and classic skin . Now it starts to load and it changes to just a blank screen. how to do get the game to work again.. do i need to delete a file d so it reverts back to windowed and OOTP.

any help would be great

It's a little-known fact that this problem was never fixed in this version. I hope it will be in OOTPB 15.

EDIT: To answer your question, first try ALT-TAB to "switch" to OOTPB from the blank screen. That may work but it does not resolve the problem. To do that, revert back to windowed mode but use the biggest screen resolution that you can to simulate full screen mode as closely as possible.

Thanks i did a ctrl -atl-delete and switch from there.. then i did as you said ..thanks for the help.

No problem. As you saw, the game is running in the background and you probably just needed to Alt-Tab to get there. And by Bowtie acknowledging me, I think my reminder posts in the bug thread have been noticed. Let's hope it gets fixed for OOTPB 15.
