Handful of suggestions...

Been throwing these out since OOTP 11...

Nationalities:

There should a British nationality, allowing for the creation of a British league , in which the generated players based on league nationality would be of the home nations.

There should an EU nationality, like above , the generated players would be based on the EU nations.

World database:

There are some absolutely crazy things in there, like the Mongolia having a 'fair' ranking in their baseball structure...

Automatic logo generation:

There should be a box were we could select the design from the ones available.

Interleague business :

Not sure if this is working at present, but , say back in the fifties, leagues like the Pacific Coast League made part of their business from selling players to the Major League. In OOTP this does not happen.Once you de-select 'trades with other major leagues', that's it, apart from free agents the leagues do not engage in any form of business transaction. It should be possible to allow inter-league trade like it was done back in those days, or in other words, the computer should do it, since the human manager does have the option to offer only money in a trade.

Cities:

The number of teams in the same city should have an influence on the economics of the teams. As it is , it seems irrelevant if you have 1 or 30 teams in the same city. On the same topic, if a team in a city suddenly achieves an incredibly high reputation , it should reflect on the other teams in the same city.

To go with Automatic logo generation, it would be nice to at least have a "read me" file that gives some insight on how to create templates that could be used. I would absolutely love to be able to create my own templates that the game then draws from to auto-create team logos.

And more to go with the Automatic Logo generation suggestion: It would be nice to specify the letter or letters that are used in the logo. Using Historical as an example, being able to specify LA or NY as the characters - to replace the unrealistic "LAN" and "NY1" team codes would be cool... True, there is a workaround for this - changing the code and then changing it back - but it involves remembering to do it, and undo it.

British certainly. EU I'm not so sure, but it would make some form of sense.

Dunno about Mongolia, but I have done a lot of work on getting England in a better state (adding missing cities, updating lat / long positions, adding the counties as "states"). I'll post an update in the thread I have in the mod forum for it in a bit (it's for OOTP 13 at the moment, but would be easy enough to change for 14 (requires some edits to how the region codes work) and hopefully they don't change the format for 15).

Agreed, that would be helpful.

Can't all of that be handled by using regions?

Well, that all depends on the scope of your league. If you have three teams in Peoria, that would be a lot if you had teams all across the nation, but it might be too few if your league is based in central Illinois.

Not sure why one team's reputation should rub off on all of the other teams in that city. All of the championships that the Cardinals won don't seem to have done the Browns much good.

My bad for speaking of reputation. The point is that, maybe with the exception of Coruscant, no city on a known planet would be able to support 1000 yankees' teams. Yet in OOTP this can happen. They would annihilate each other, starting with economically, which does not happen in game.

In fact, IMO, there is very little in the game's financials that works realistically once you get past the 'one season' only simulation, unless you give some help with editing financials, etc.
