Random Debut Initial Draft Question

I 'think' I remember reading this somewhere but before I start I would like to confirm that the following is true:

After I start a new random debut league and before I start the initial draft if I delete say any players who show up in the initial draft that are older than 28 will they then show up in later years?

I have heard 2 different stories on this. I had thought that if you delete the players from the inaugural draft that they will show up later on but someone recently said it is not true. Let us know. I believe it was true on 13 not sure on 14.

Now that you said that, it rings a bell. For my new dynasty (first in a looooonnnggg time) I may just edit the birrhdate of any 'good' players, let their ratings/potential stay what they are for yr 1 since I plan on doing a 1 yr recalc so year 2 they should be back to normal
