league totals -- question
so I have a fictoral league I am working on, current year is 1899, but I want to roughly replicate the stats from say 1983-84. in my testing I choose 1983 or 84 from the dropdown, numbers change but it gives me 1899 type output by seasons end, I go and look at the league totals and they have reverted back.
I have done this many times before in ootp13 and I am either going to have to ad yet another thing to the ever growing list of things I am still having trouble with since the concussion or something has changed somewhat in 14 & for one reason or another I can't figure it out.

I thought that you had to change the historical year to 1983, or 1984 as well. It's been a long time since I've tried this though.

What you could do is save your financials somehow (screenshot), select 1983 as the year, and then manually revert back to your financials. |

yeah, I was hoping not to have to do that, but I am going to end up doing it just to be safe anyway. so it might as well be my plan till I figure it out for sure

I just had the same problem. My issue was having the auto import historical player creation modifiers set. Once I unchecked that everything was more inline with my expectations.

so I think I have figured out what happens. if the adjust league totals modifiers for accuracy box is checked it adjusts the modifiers to thelisted not the loaded year.
in the pic. the listed year is 1901 (current year) but the totals are for the 1983 season (as they should be) now I figured that the box would adjust the modifiers to keep the totals in line with the ones I loaded not the ones from history. and I only have the financial historical settings to import. I guess I have to do the totals somewhat manually, Bummer, the totals have always perplexed me

this is really driving me crazy, I am bouncing from HR highs of mid teens to mid 70's. 70 would be ok as an outlier but it is happening every other test.
I know I am simply not understanding something here, but for the life of me I don't know what and I have never really run into this before
