Online Leagues using Steam?

Is there any possibility that online leagues will be able to be played through steam, instead of the current FTP Domain setup

Good question. I'm not sure what the ramifications of this could be, but if someone else knows, please share. It may enable us to do new things!

It would be about a hundred times easier if they did it.

Steam is GOOD at multiplayer.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

To be perfectly honest, I would love it if it took the simming out of the hands of the commissioner(s). I will continue to play alternative games for online play but would love to see it happen for OOTP.

There are two things that I think Steam would excel at. One is multiplayer, and the other is mods via a Steam Workshop. They do both of these things marvelously for other games, and while both would be more difficult for OOTP, I have high hopes that they can and will be done.

Would be great if they could integrate the draft into Steam somehow so you didn't have to use outside utilities. I find the in game draft pool much easier to work with.
