Help pertaining to the Lehman database

Yeah, well I just downloaded the database earlier tonight so I'm obviously inexperienced with the thing. I figured I'd come on here and see if anyone could answer a few questions I have. Figured this would be the place to ask, if any. Anyways, on to the questions.

The first question I have is, after each season when it gets to the draft does the database import the real players from the next season so they're available to draft or do you have to do that on your own? If you don't understand the question I can try to explain it better.

The next question I have is, will the game stick with the original teams even once it gets to the point in history where expansion teams were added and teams changed cities and changed names? Is there a way you can have the new teams and changes added in through the database or would you have to do that all manually?

That's all the questions I have for now, any and all help is appreciated.

1) Once you click proceed to next season and the game is done processing all the end of season processes it will pop up a message asking if you want to import real rookies; if you click yes it will ask for the path of the db (ie c:\stats). If you click no it will generate fictional rookies. Also keep in mind that the DB will only work if the amateur draft is set to 'preseason'

2) You have to do it manually and if you are assigning rookies to their original teams then the abbreviations need to match up to what they are in the database.

Yeah, I figured out the answer to my first question on my own by just playing through the season then moving on to the next one. Thanks for the help though with the second question, much appreciated.
