No Amateur Draft

When I created my league I set the amateur draft to be on June 1. It is now June 1st and I didn't have an amateur draft so I check my setting and it was reset to pre-season for some reason (maybe from the patch?).

I reset the draft to be on June 1st again but nothing happened. This is my first league, does a draft screen come up on draft day or is there some action I would need to take? Is it too late since it wasn't selected before June 1 began?

I'd really don't want to wait another whole year before I have my first draft. I am managing all of the games so it will take for ever if I did that...

I might be mistaken, since I don't usually use a June draft, but I am fairly certain, the very first season of a league set with a June draft will have no draft at all. The will not be a draft till season #2, and it will either be at the beginning of the season or in June.

I had a career with the draft set to June 1st and it did in fact occur in the first season.

Prior to starting the career though I went into the league setup to change some options and noticed that it had reverted back to the preseason. This is what most likely happened in your situation. Once I changed it back again to the June 1st option it ended up remaining that way and everything worked out great.

I really don't think that you can change this with any real affect once the season has actually started though so you may be out of luck until the next season.

You can't fix this once you start the season, I believe.

maybe the patch reset but if you choose to have a june 1st draft on june 1st you wont have a draft till the next year

One season I changed my draft from preseason to June 1. I didn't have a draft that year. It was my understanding that that was just the way it worked. I'm sure a workaround would be fairly straightforward if you thought about it ahead of time.

If you start a league and change the draft to June, you will have a draft that same year... this has been my experience.
