I'd like to be able to trade a player + cash... Makes it more realistic.

Absolutely, many deals in baseball involve cash. It could help for those deals that are very close to happening but just need a little extra incentive.
Along similar lines, I also think it would be interesting if you could have signing bonuses or other incentives with free agents. But that's probably a bit too complicated as of yet.

Being able to trade draft picks would be a nice addition also...

How about trading for a player to be named also? A team could choose from 3 or 4 guys.

I want the most realistic game possible and since real MLB doesn't allow draft picks to be traded I wouldn't want OOTP to. BTW, I really like the idea of players+cash trading. |

I agree edm, I like the game to be as realistic as possible and if draft picks aren't allowed I wouldn't want to play with them. If other people want to use it fine, but I wouldn't.

Most On-line leagues already allow trading of draft picks, just creates more work for the commish to finangle the picks or use the draft pick utility. As far as you guys that have a problem with trading draft picks might I remind you that throughout most of the history of the MLB there wasn't a draft of any kind anyway.

trading for cash, players + cash or draft picks (which the majors should allow) should be a league setup option. That would allow those that don't want to use it to simply turn it off.

Exactly, as long as it was an option, draft pick trading in the game is just fine with me. Like I said, I still wouldn't use it, but for those who want it, it's there.
