Your WBC

I created my own WBC in my game and I was wondering how you guys run your tournaments? Do you do qualifying or have the same teams all the time? How do you fill out your rosters? By who had the best year or by talent levels?

This is a curiosity thing. Just seeing how some people do theirs.

recently just ran one... I chose the 16 best countries myself, didnt want to do qualifying. From there I divided them into two sets of eight and took two countries from each set to create the four pools and divide talent evenly. After that I ran it as standard WBC.

Making the teams I hand moved every player to a WBC league I set up. I ran the league, just hand did the schedule as the series continued and then afterward moved all players back to original teams and deleted the WBC league because it can't sit dormant with no players.

One thing i did during the WBC though is set all computer teams to not allow transactions or roster moves to prevent them from replacing the players i took.

One thing you can do to make the WBC easier is going into your documents folder and duplicating your league file so you can just use the duplicate instead of moving all of the players over.

That would only save me moving them back, which was the easiest part. Small price to pay to forever have the stats from the WBC in my main game.
