Red Steiner - Boston Red Sox 1945
I've been fooling around with colorizations recently... Red Steiner was born 99 years ago today in Los Angeles. The original image from which these are sampled was posted to ebay some time ago by the old lexibell seller.

Dave Anderson - Quakers/Phillies
Pitcher, Dave Anderson was with the Philadelphia National League team in 1889
(then known as the Quakers) and 1890, the first year they were known as the Phillies. This is from the 1890 team photo.
