Need stories for....

Some of this has been mentioned before, but I thought it might be useful to accumulate all the story-related wishes in one place and let folks add or comment here.

We need stories for...

1. All Star games
2. ALL Playoff games
3. Exhibition games (would be nice for those that schedule them for their storylines)
4. Milestone games
5. Top Performances that rate as "top of list"
6. "Blockbuster" trades - defined as trades that involved previous season award winners
7. Season summaries - defined as covering the pennant winner and how that team progressed; example;

"The Glory Days Baseball League inaugural season saw the New York Knights of the Federal League claim first place the first week of the season and build its lead to 13 games by the playoffs with a 79-32 record. Over in the Continental League, the St. Louis Terriers found themselves in last place on May 20th, 12.5 games behind the Kansas City Packers (28-11). Over the next 72 games, the Terriers went 47-25 to capture the Continental pennant with a 62-48 record. The Packers ended up in second place, 3.5 games out."

Agreed, this "summary" may be a bit tough to come up with, but it would be great if it could be done.

9. Record Breaking stories - defined as when a new league record is broken.

There's a blockbuster trade one that gets worked in sometimes. I think it's more based on star ratings than past performance, though.

Also, I totally agree that milestones and broken records should get stories. I had a shortstop in my 2021 Brewers game break the single-season SB record (ended up with 153 SB in 180 tries) but there was no acknowledgement of his achievement. It was a real bummer.

i thought the no.1 draft pick in amateur draft Not signing should have been a story... i found out by coincidence.... more after the draft coverage actually would be nice... (or maybe i am missing these through all the mail).

rare event should also be newsworthy. I just extended the Pedro Martinez Award winner from 2 years ago, to a 6year $100 millions extension, the highest contract offered by my franchise ever.... not even a news piece.

It would be nice if the game sent you a message every year when you either clinch a playoff spot or are eliminated. As it is they just randomly pick teams on occasion. I'd also like it if any news on any player in your system was sent as a personal message. There have been way too many times I've been just skimming through messages and hit delete before I realize that last message was about one of my minor leaguers.
