Waiver System
I remember in earlier OOTP titles I was able to put players in waivers and if a team claimed a player I was able to pull them back. Nowadays, everytime I put ANY player regardless if they have options left or not they are always in irrevocable waivers.
Did the rules in baseball change? Anyway, where in the settings do I go to be able to pull back players claimed by other teams off the waivers? |

That's how real baseball works. If you want to take a guy off your 40-man roster, he has to go on irrevocable waivers. OOTP was just wrong before, so that's why it was changed to what you see now.

Oh darn. Now I have to change the way I use kids in the farm system. I'm having a hell of a time juggling people in my 40man roster. Any tips?

OOTP does soemthing different post-trade deadline.
When you try and trade a guy, he has to go on waivers and if someone claims him, you automatically pull him back. I would like the option of letting the claiming team have him. |
